INFLAMED AMYGDALA began as an experiment to try and marry the two respective genre styles that this project draws from.
What was birthed is a chaotic barrage of tracks that don't let you rest at any point, it took me to the anxious state of being that I experience frequently. It was then I knew I needed to capture in this release the intense heart racing highs, slow durges and combinations of pain and rage that come with having a traumatised psyche.
I'm confident in saying this is my most ferocious release to date.

PEDAL YOUR ABOMINATIONS
My friend and fellow queer noise artist panic clause sent me 50 minutes worth of their unique improvised noise, using oscillators and epidermic needles.
They allowed me the honor of being able to manipulate these pieces and add anything that I creatively visioned, what transpired has become to date the most experimental work I have created so far.
This release culminates all of my influences from grindcore, harsh noise, free jazz and electronics. It's also the first recording that I've ever recorded saxophone parts for.
PEDAL YOUR ABOMINATIONS marks a beginning of a full expansion of the GENDERISTHEBASTARD sound, and fully experimenting with all the possibilities available to me.

Inspired by the book 'I have no mouth, and I must scream' by Harlan Ellison.
I HAVE A MOUTH, BUT I CANNOT SCREAM represents my re-imaging of Harlan Ellison's work. However the story has been altered to reflect the current state of technology and social media's impact on the world.
While we are now able to communicate with anyone across the globe, we are strangled by the volume of voices speaking back, we are trapped in echo Chambers, feeding this Bio-Algorithmic parasite that serves only to capture our attention, indefinitely.
It's sole purpose is to circumvent the self, remove the soul and render the voices silent and obedient.
This work is my artistic representation of the struggles that come from living in this technological age as a neurodiverse queer person with mental health conditions.
